With this itinerary you will follow the steps of the legendary painter Piero Della Francesca and visit some of the places he took inspiration from!
You will spend 4 days and 3 nights with half board service in a 3 star hotel on the Adriatic Coast.
This excursion is available in Autumn.
1st Day – Rimini
Arrival in Riccione in the early afternoon.
Guided tour of Rimini’s historical center, rich in Romanic heritage.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
2nd Day – Urbino and Gradara
Breakfast in hotel and departure to Urbino.
Visit of the city and stop at Palazzo Ducale, where two of the painter’s works, La Flagellazione and Senigallia’s Virgin Mary, are kept.
3rd Day – Renaissance Views in Montefeltro
Breakfast in hotel and departure towards a poetic and bucolic landscape which accompanied Piero della Francesca’s travels five centuries ago.
After many years of work two photographers and landscape-hunters have discovered the “invisible landscapes” of Piero della Francesca, scientifically proving that the views of his paintings are right here, in Montefeltro, a proper outdoor museum.
At lunchtime, departure to go and taste Montefeltro’s local products.
After lunch, free visit in San Leo with entrance to the fortress.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
4th Day
Breakfast in hotel and return.
This experience includes:
- 3 nights with half board service in a 3 star hotel in Riccione or Rimini

- tourist guides for Rimini, Urbino, San Leo and along the Renaissance Views as scheduled
- entrance to San Leo’s fortress
