This itinerary can take place in Spring or Autumn.
1st Day
Arrival at the hotel, welcome drink, dinner and overnight.
2nd Day – San Marino and Santarcangelo
Breakfast in hotel. Departure towards San Marino that, with its 61 square kilometers, is the smallest and most ancient Republic in the whole world. In the afternoon, on to Santarcangelo di Romagna for a visit of the medieval village and its underground caves.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd Day – Ravenna
Breakfast in hotel and departure towards Ravenna, the city of mosaics and the last capital of the Western Holy Roman Empire. Here it’s possible to visit the most important and significant witnesses of the gothic and byzantine eras. The visit includes San Vitale’s Basilica and Galla Placida mausoleum, with Ravenna’s most ancient mosaics, and Teodorico’s Mausoleum.
Free afternoon and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
4th Day – Pennabilli and San Leo
Breakfast in hotel and departure towards Pennabilli, with visit of the souls’ places spread museum by the poet Tonino Guerra: the Garden of the Forgotten Fruits, the Petrified Garden, the Angel with a Moustache, the Shetler of the Abandoned Virgins, the Thoughts Sanctuary, the Meridians Street. Then, on to San Leo, located on a huge rock and keeper of a magnificent architectural heritage: the pre-Romanic church, the Romanic Dome, the Fortress, the Sacred Art Museum.
A taste in a wine cellar will follow, and then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
5th Day
Breakfast in hotel, free morning for your shopping and return.
